Columbia Road. Not the most relaxing of Sunday’s, with crowds of people hunting for the best bargains for their bunches and vendors shouting ‘3 for a fiver’ in your face as you attempt to walk (or shuffle in the crowds) past!
Nonetheless, it’s still one of my favourite ways to spend a Sunday and never disappoints with its blooms. I came away with a nice bunch of peonies, which were only ‘2 for a tenner’ (in my best Cockney accent) but it was my mum who got the bargain of the century and bought an actual palm tree! When in Rome eh?!

I am currently writing this post in my pyjamas (don’t worry it’s passed 5 o’clock which totally makes it acceptable) and in my fluffy gown…with the hood up. England, its June. What happened?
Even editing these summery pictures makes me want to cry inside but I took these on the weekend, when it actually felt like summer (come back!), on a stroll in Chelsea and a visit to The Good Life Eatery (review coming soon). A simple outfit, but I feel for the summer you don’t need to over complicate things. Just a simple, plain dress with flats and a string of pearls and you’re good to go.

Now I’m not much of a risk taker. This applies to most things in life. Whether it’s my fashion choices or my Prezzo order, I often to stick the safe option. And if any of you are wondering what my Prezzo order is; it’s always been and will always be a penne arrabiata, with a side salad and a honeycomb cheese. Yum.
My sister and I picked up this New York skyline kitsch bag in a random market in Malaysia in 2004 for about a fiver. Since then, it has been left at the back of the wardrobe along with my very trendy trouser-skirts (someone bring these bad boys back!).
I have often brought it out to attempt to style it but have never been brave enough on the reason it simply being a bit “kray”, but yesterday, I decided to take a risk and just do it! I teamed it up with my fave ASOS suede skirt, Topshop 70s crop top, a hat and simple school-like shoes. Sure, it’s probably not to everyone’s taste, but then again not everyone likes the honeycomb cheesecake at Prezzo. These kind of people, are crazy.
